Like most of you with the clarisonic brush, I used the head that came with it for the first three months. I decided that I could use a little extra exfoliation since I have combination very oily/very dry skin which is able to take a fair amount of abrasiveness. I don't use this brush everyday, but it is perfect for once or twice a week use for me just to ramp up my exfoliation. It is gentle enough I could use it everyday, but I just don't feel it is necessary. An excellent tool in the clarisonic arsenal for those of us without super delicate skin. If you sometimes need more substantial exfoliation than the delicate brush provides, then this normal skin brush will really do the trick to maximize your results.

I have used this face brush for over a year now, faithfully. I have found it to be a superior method for washing my face. I use it both morning and night. I have this brush in three locations and have also given brushes to my husband and to several female friends. But, I use Kate Somerville products (about which I am equally enthusiastic) to clean and then moisturize my face. So I belive that it is a combination of the brush and the face products. I am 65 years old and now friends are inquiring if I have had a facelift!

I researched these a few months ago, but was skeptical. When my dermatologist recommended it for my sun damaged skin, I ordered it. I've been using it two times/day for a month and I have to say, the hyper-pigmentation is definitely fading. My pores are smaller and I think the dark circles under my eyes look better. I think another two months will see even more improvement.

After using all three brushes, this new delicate brush is the best. It appears to have slightly longer bristles which make a lush lather of whatever product used with the Clarisonic. I find I need less product and the finished results are excellent! This brush head has made Clarisonic (a brillant product) even better. I have the youngest looking/feeling skin of all my 60 year old friends. Thank you again Clarisonic!

The spot therapy attachment goes on the clarisonic pro or deluxe models and is for use on the body only. It does a great job of getting all the "ickies" off of your chest, elbows and knees. If you already own a clarisonic and have not tried this, I recommend you do. I don't use it too often, but the brush really helps just smooth out my body skin complexion!

My dermatologist recommended this brush as part of the treatement for my rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis, and the results have been great. The brush removes the flakes without irritating my skin. Since I've been using it, the frequency and duration of flushing has gone way down. I've owned it 3 months now, with no mechanical problems. It's expensive, but well worth the money.

Great product... wouldn't want to go back to a wash cloth ever again.. Threre's no other beard shaving prep that comes close... Our Clarisonic unit has been dropped at least twice a month from the top of the shower ledge onto the floor... doesn't miss a beat in spite of the abuse...

i got a clarisonic skin care brush for christmas and loved it! i used it with the sensitive brush head that was attached to it first and got great results. then, when it was time to change brush heads, i switched to the normal brush head that came w/ it. i definitely see a difference! i know my skin had to get used to the clarisonic so that's why they recommend you start with the sensitive brush. but once my skin was used to the clarisonic, the use of normal brush made it even better. my skin is definitely smoother and extremely softer! old acne marks are fading and i barely ever have any new blemishes.

i will definitely be purchasing the normal brush heads from now on!

I purchased the Clarisonic Pro and it came with the Sensitive Skin brush. I works for me,therefore, I reordered two of same replacement brushes at a very good price. The process was easy and fast. As for the Clarisonic Pro, I really like it..only wish I knew about it sooner. I've only been using it since November and I feel that my skin has improved. It prepares my skin to absorb the serum and moisturizer much better. I love that I can take in the shower, too.

I use the Clarisonic because of some facial dermatitis, and there was a double-blind study in 2007 that concluded that the clarisonic brush was effectively a cure for many people.

Keep in mind, that dermatitis has no official cure.

However, I've stopped using my topical cream entirely, and now use just the clarisonic skin brush for my face, and I haven't had an outbreak since.

It does appear to improve skin tone and keep pores clean as well. So there's many benefits for people with dermatitis.

1 - No more expensive Rx Creams
2 - No more Rx side-effects (sagging skin, enlarged pores, dryness etc)
3 - And it improves your skin tone as you use it

It's a no-brainer. (although I'm not sure it will work for EVERYONE this way)

I love this product. It is made by the same people who make Sonicare toothbrushes, anyone who has used a regular toothbrush and then used a Sonicare knows, it's like you just stepped out of the dentist chair. Your teeth feel so clean. It's the same feeling on your face. And you don't waste your products. They lather better than ever because of the sonic waves. I heard about it while getting a facial (due to acne, I NEEDED to go)
I have been using the Clarisonic facial brush for 2 or 3 years, no matter what skin care line you use, This gets those products in, so they work BETTER! I started using this, with my acne wash and my acne is totally under control. I only use mine on my face but you can use it anywhere on your body. <3 The unit is kinda pricey... The first time (just like the toothbrushes) but, after that you just get the brush heads at about $20-$25... every 3-6 months. (you'll know when to replace)

I was skeptical about the Clarisonic, but purchased it based on the good reviews. I find that it really does a wonderful job taking off all the stuff I put on my skin. I have tried cleaning my face without it and then with it, and found that it does help remove more make-up, etc. It also feels good on my face. The brushes are fine, and this is a reasonable price on Amazon.

I've been using my Clarisonic for 3 weeks now and I love it.
I'm in my mid 40's. I have combination oily skin, occasional acne and large pores in my T-zone. I use the Clarisonic twice a day with my own face cleanser. My T-zone looks better already. The pores are shrinking noticeably. I do get an occasional odd pimple in areas that I wouldn't normally get them (cheekbone area) but they go away quickly and don't come back.

Also, the skin under my eyes is plumper and lighter. (I started noticing dark crapey skin in that area last year.) My under eye area is back to a more youthful texture and the fine wrinkles that are there are less pronounced. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's the new eyecream (Shiseido) in conjunction with the clairsonic or just the new eyecream but the change was noticeable within a week of using Clarisonic. Needless to say, I'm going to keep using both.

In reference to brush heads - the one that comes with the device is for "sensitive" skin. It's very soft and I had no issues with it the first couple of weeks but recently I've noticed a bit of discomfort with it so I've moved on to the "delicate" brush head. As mentioned above I use Clarisonic twice a day. For those who use it once a day or less, you would probably be totally fine with the head that it comes with.

I love my Clairisonic....though it is spendy to keep up on brush replacements. This was a great price ([...]).

I got the 'normal' grade (grey color) and love using it on my face and neck. I definitly see a difference from just hand washing alone.

I bought a clairasonic last year and LOVE the product. I heard everyone on Sirius talk about it and I was a little nervous to spend that much on a skin product. One of the shows had someone from the company on and they were taking listner questions and it convinced me to try it and I love it.

I am a male and bought the gray one with the normal skin brush. It works great. It feels like you are getting a facial massage and I use it at night with the clarisonic dry skin cream at night and use it in the shower to apply shaving cream in the morning.

I bought the clarisonic because of a friends recommendation. Her skin looked beautiful. I've been using it for over 4 months so I did have to replace the brush. This one seems just like the one that came with the unit except the plastic part that attaches to the base is grey instead of white. I've been using it for over a week and so far so good.

I already saw what the face attachment does so I knew I had to get the spot brush. There was a difference for sure, everywhere I used this it was soft and smooth. When you apply your body lotion, skin treatment etc, it seems to absorb better. In the winter I tend to ignore my feet so they end up more than a little dry, after I ran this over my feet, the dryness was was gone and my foot cream worked better than before. Clarisonic is all about quality.

The device came with a brush head made for sensitive skin. Although good, I ordered the brush for normal skin types. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Words cannot express how much I love my Clarisonic. Or should I say Clarisonic(s) as I now have two. It has absolutely changed my skin from perpetually clogged, sensitive, acne prone and dull to bright, fresh and clean looking. It is such a pleasure to use, unlike most exfoiliating facial scrubs. I have had it for two years now and rarely need to wear makeup.
Don't get me wrong-it doesn't do all the work. I still get the occasional facial, I don't smoke, rarely drink, and religiously apply sunscreen, but consider this an invaluable part of my regime for looking and feeling good.
It is especially versatile now that the spot treatment brush can be used for the body and really rarely needs to be charged (every 3 weeks maybe?)
I wouldn't even hesitate-this baby is worth every penny.

I have had my Clarisonic for a year and a half. In no time, my skin was showing improvement and I had to use fewer products to keep my skin clear. I have had clogged pores such as closed comedones (genetic per my derm) my entire life. The keratin in my cells just won't shed easily causing those little bumps. Once in a while I would get a cyst, but no matter what I did, I could never have decent skin unless I was on meds from the derm.

I did try all the typical products, scrubs, cleansers, Stridex...you name it. Nothing compares to this. I have to presume that the sonic action of it jiggles out the oil to normalize it and therefore the cells aren't sticky and thus, less clogging. That's my assessment, anyway, bc nothing else has worked for me all these years (expect for Rx meds which I don't want to be on my entire life).

Now people that never have clogged pores or acne might not see that big of a difference. It may just feel better and increase circulation...but for me...it's made a 180 degree turnaround in my clogged pores.

This changed my skin 99% improvement. In fact, I bought one for my daughter who now swears she will never be without it. I did an experiment and went off the Clarisonic for almost two months. It was very obvious and I am using it again daily with my Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash. A gel type cleanser is best for this unit and you don't need to buy expensive ones either. My cleanser is less than $5.

At first I had some purging and sometimes it looked like I had mosquito bites, that was the old stuff coming to the surface. I also started out with the delicate brush head, then the gentle and finally the normal. You need to use a fair amount of the cleanser, the gel type helps it glide over the skin easily, and avoid the eye area. You don't need to use any pressure, just let it glide across your skin.

If I didn't haev this, I'd end up spending bucks at the derm - so I'm extremely pleased! If you ever tried Sonicare toothbrushes, this is the same idea but for your face. A *huge* improvement in quality of skin care.

Cleaning the Brush Heads: I filled a bottle with rubbing alcohol and after rinsing the brush head under running water and vibrating off the excess, then I spritz the brush head with the alcohol, shake it off a bit and then store it. (I tried using bleach to disinfect, but it was harsh on the bristles and broke them down).

46 years old and still have minor but constant blemishes.... my skin is delicate, runs to the dry side, and very tempermental.... going for regular facials keeps it clear but I don't go regularly because facials are expensive and i don't like going to regular appointments....

Since I know my skin and how it reacts to new things, I developed my own routine..... I started with the 3 minute run and then backed it down to the 2 minute setting after one week. My skin produced more oil for the first few days (which for me is a plus) and then adjusted to the new process. The only thing I don't like is trying to set the setting to where you want it... seems like they could've figured out an easier process to do that...

I really don't know if it's worth the money though.

The other brush started turning on by itself and eventually could not be recharged!

My experience with the customer service has been terrible. They would not replace my brush for me even though the product was still under warranty. Be careful if you are going to travel abroad. The warranty on the brush is nulled if you use the brush in a power outlet other than 110v!

They have yet to ship my item and it says its in stock. Skindirect is really missing the mark with performance and I will never order my replacements from them again.

The product was going to be a gift for my wife until it came without a box. What is this, a used brush head? And even if it was new(which we'll never be able to assume), why not send it in its packaging. Overall, this was a very upsetting purchase and I had to scramble to get a replacement sent in time.
