There has been a fair amount of information written on Solution 2 stating that it is better than Tend Skin. I have been using Tend Skin for about 2 years with good results but wanted to try the latest. For sure, Solution 2 works better. It smells better (minty) and stings less without any loss of bump fighting power. I also like the fact that I can throw my big bag of cotton balls out because of the roller ball!

NO matter what I would do I would get razor bumps and razor burn. I tried waxing as well but sometimes that just isnt practical and it didn't stop razor bumps anyway. I bought this product about 3 weeks ago and it is incredible. I just roll it on after I shave and it stings a little bit but I must say that having no razor bumps is worth it!!! I also use it under my arms and it works extremely well for that area too.

I have had an issue with razor bumps forever no matter how I shaved, what razor I used, or what shaving cream I tried. I was very skeptical about Solution 2 because I was not sure if it would actually solve the problem because razor bumps seem like a tough issue to fix. Solution 2 absolutely works which is why I have taken the time to write this review. I'm glad that at 37 I have finally found a product that keeps my skin clear around my neckline. I wear a shirt and tie almost every day and have to shave every day. I use Solution 2 right after I shave and like the roller ball feature too.

Finally a product that does what it says it does! I use Solution 2 in the morning a few minutes after I shave and my neck line looks perfectly clear. I used to dread the warm season because I would get severe neck issues with a collared shirt. It is resolved now:)

I typically buy what I want or need online and this item was delivered to me very quickly. Additionally, the "travel" pads that were mentioned in the listing are excellent quality. I prefer to travel as light as possible and they take up a negligable amount of space in my shaving kit. The product itself works as well for me as the other consumers have posted up on this feedback section already.

I have used this product for a while now and love it. My only bone with it is that they don't sell the travel packs that come witht the order. I have googled like a nut and checked the min site too and can't find them for sale anywhere. What is up with that!

Used tendskin until I discovered this! Works as well as tendskin but I liked the rollerball instead of using cotton. It lasts longer as well, have had one for 6 months now.

I have been pleasantly suprised with this product and the results are quite good. I found the roller ball type applicator top to be a little wierd at first but now I like it and understand why this type of product has that type of top.

I have had issues with razor burn under my arms especially in the summer time. I gave this a shot because the roller ball reminded me of my antiperspirant. I am really impressed with how well it works and it rolls on nicely too. Also, I had concerns about staining on my clothing and I am happy to say that it doesn't stain at all and is perfectly clear!

I have tried Tend Skin and it works ok and have used it for the past few years. A friend of mine at the office was talking about Solution 2 and I all of the other (mostly) female co-workers in our office decided to buy it from Amazon right then and there and give it a try. We turned it into a little bit of light office entertainment if you will. Well, it's been about 2 weeks and the overall response has been very good! The women in the office think it works great (we have no idea where the other reviewer got lighter fluid from!) and two of the guys that used it like it too. We give it a thumbs up!

First and foremost this is an EXCELLENT product that TRULY works and deliver on what it promises to do! Long story short I suffer from in grown hairs on my bikini-line area and my under arms for years. I have tried Tend Skin however it didnt'quiet work for me and the application and smell was a bit much. Had the product worked as it stated I would of dealt with the hideous smell.

MiN New York Solution 2 Rollerball on the other hand has a refreshing minty smell and a easy roll on application. I get my under arms waxed and have been doing this for the past few years as I get fewer bumps and my hair grow back a lot slower. However I still bumped up and nothing seemed to work. I get waxed about once every 6 weeks and have gotten waxed twice while using MiN New York Solution 2 Rollerball and I have not gotten ANY unsightly bumps and my skin is smooth as a babies bottom! I have also shaved my bikini area and have not bumped up and the itching is hardly there! I even used it on my legs as they tend to bump up and my and I used it on my eye brows as well after I get waxed several times to stop bumps as I tend to bump up sometime there as well. This product is quiet universal where any hair is removed from your body. Again excellent excellent product! I will be reordering soon!

It seems I went from never writing reviews to writig them everytime I order something from Amazon.com or any other site I order from. The main purpose I began to do this is because I base how I will buy a certain product off of the consumer reviews I read. This is the main reason I choose to write reviews so WE the consumers have unbiased opinions about the products we use and to give the people who are looking to buy certain products a better unbderstanding on if the product REALLY works.

I didn't think that I was going to find a product that worked better than Tendskin. Tendskin works very well for me but I was curious about Solution 2. I have been using it for about a month now and it is amazing. It works just as well if not better on the bumps but smells less alcoholy. Also, I think the ball works very well too.

I used Tend Skin for many years with mixed results. I recently ran out of Tend Skin and looked for it on Amazon. Luckily, I stumbled upon Solution 2.

Before I ordered it, I read each of the twenty plus reviews. This product is light years better than Tend Skin!!! The roller ball makes it much easier to apply evenly. The spearmint smell wears off after three minutes (according to my wife). The burning that you may read about is the normal after shave burn.

If you have used Tend Skin or if you have trouble with ingrown hairs and/or razor bumps, you owe it to yourself to try this product. I am very grateful to the other reviewers for sharing their experience with this product.

I have used Tendskin for years and even though I didnt really like it, it did work for me. HOWEVER--I have been using Solution2 for the past month and it works better and the packaging applicator is a big improvement too.

I have had razor bumps and in grown hairs on my underarms and bikini line my entire shaving life. After just four shaves and applying the solution after I am happy to say that they are gone and just in time for the beach! They also threw in some handy individual wipes to use on the go, their service was great! Use it!!

I like the Min product better than the Tend Skin product for several reasons:
1) The application method is better and I can finally throw away my bag of cotton balls
2) It smell better and a little bit minty

For the record, my assistant was the one who introduced the office to this amazing little product. She used it and the next week couldn't stop talking about it. I ordered it and then I couldn't stop talking about it.....now, all the women in the office use it and we all LOVE it. It works perfectly and travels well and won't leak in your bag either.

I think this is about as close to a perfect grooming product. It's not too expensive and works incredibly well. Also, the little roller ball with the cap doesn't leak in my gym bag which is always appreciated!

I buy this product religiously and it's AMAZING. It does not smell too great but, if you shave your bikini area and put this on right after - you will never have razor bumps / razor burn or ingrown hairs again! It works for any area of your skin. seriously, I am so pleased with this product it's wonderful!

after using bump no more for 2 years i ran into solution 2, i figured with the rollerball and ease of applying i would give it a shot. this product works great my bumps are gone, it does not dry out my skin and i no longer need cotton pads. i never write reviews but i had to for this product. you have a fan for life.

this is the best post-wax treatment to prevent ingrown hairs in the bikini area, or anywhere else. it goes on very easy, but it stinks at first and it burns a little. however, it's totally worth it because it works like a charm. and if you have any ingrown hairs already, it dries them out and heals them within 1-2 days.

the only drawback is the size. i wish there were more in the bottle for this price!

I needed something for the irritated, ingrown hairs and bumps from waxing my bikini line and shaving the backs of my thighs. I had wanted to try a pad variety, but they were expensive. I decided to try Solution 2 which was only $20 and in a roll-on form. It works great. I put it on a couple of times a day, whether I've freshly depilated or not. It has made an immediate difference in the bump situation. It dries quickly and doesn't smell too medicine-y.

This product gets a standing ovation from me.

I have used Tend Skin for about 6 years now but since finding this, that is no more. Tend Skin used to be the best hands down but this is much much better. I don't even remember how I found out about this product to be honest with you but I'm glad I found it! It doesn't dry my skin out as much as Tend Skin did and it keeps the bumps away and down! Also if you have razor bumps give it ONE day and you will see a major difference! Just try it. I can't see how anyone would regret it.

I have used tend skin solution for many years but I recently found the strength to be diluted. Based on Amazon's previous reviews, I decided to try this product. It is amazing! It works and is much more user friendly that tend skin. I will definitely stick with this product.

I spent a good amount of time, effort and money to find the one after shave treatment to help stop razorbumps when I came accross this product. Not only it stops them but it also get rid of the ones you already have when used properly. I highly recommend this product and wouldn't be surprised if it has the same quality for anyone else.

I know it may come off as a bit on the dramatic side but unless you have dealt with this problem before.......anyway, Solution2 positively works and I am so happy that this will be the FIRST summer that I won't have to deal with razor bumps. THANK GOD!

I'd actually give it 4.5 stars. As a guy who shaves frequently, I would always get ingrown hairs on my neck after shaving--but not anymore! This product does exactly as it is supposed to...keeps the hairs out from skin! The only drawbacks are the price (it is a bit pricey) and a quick stinging (that of alcohol on an open cut). Here's my breakdown:

Pros:
+ Effective!
+ After the initial sting, it leaves a nice tingly feeling :)
+ Also available is a refill bottle and use that to refill the roller ball applicator (it's a bit cheaper per oz.)

Cons:
- Price
- Stinging immediately after application

Overall good product, does what it claims!

I heard about this product from a friend of mine who swears by it. I like it too but think that it takes a little getting used to because it stings a bit on my sensitive skin. If it didn't sting, I would have given it a 5 because it works!

I've been a Tend Skin user for about 5 years now and have gotten used to it and while I don't like it per se, it does work. I tried Solution 2 and it works just as well if not better and the applicator is a significant improvement over the cotton ball technique situation I had to use.

I've had this for a few days, occasionally using it before shaving and always after, sometimes twice a day, and am thrilled that my legs are actually smooth - something I didn't think you could get by using an electric shaver.

Before using this I would come out of the shower after shaving and look like I had three days worth of stubble on my legs. I had used TendSkin before but it was messier and definitely more irritating than Solution 2. This product does not sting, and leaves behind a soft sheen on the skin.

It smells very strongly of alcohol with the slightest trace of mint when it first goes on, but that evaporates quickly. I had such a horrible problem with ingrown hairs that I didn't hold out much hope this would work, and am very pleased. I am hoping that with continued use the red "dots" I have had on my legs forever finally disappear.

I ordered this through Amazon and it arrived very quickly. The product is very nicely packaged and came with a couple of freebies - a bottle of shampoo and a few travel packets of Solution 2.

I have been rolling the product on day and night because I love that silky smooth feeling my legs have now that the ingrowns are all popping out and I can get a very close shave. The only downside is that I'll be out of it in no time, and it's not exactly cheap for the amount you get, which is why I only gave it four stars.

I've used both Tend skin and Solution 2. They are both basically the same stuff, acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), alchohol, and water. They both work equally effective for me. I dislike the Solution 2 because of the mint scent to it, I wear cologne and it tends to over power my cologne. So Soution 2 gets 4 out 5 from me, if you like the mint scent, get it. The roller for the solution 2 is ingenious, it is so much easier to apply with that. I just can't get over the scent, so I'm stickign to tend skin.

This product has proved effective in reducing major irritation in both pubic and facial areas. In fact, I wouldn't even attempt shaving my pubic area again without this solution. The rollerball applicator is particularly convenient!

This product worked really well. It cleared up most of the razor bumps on my face within days. My only complaint is that it's too expensive. After I finished it, I found a similar product, PFB Vanish, that works just as good, but is a lot cheaper per ounce.

After trying various razor shaving methods that failed I thought I would try Solutions 2 product. First, I must say it worked as advertized and got rid of my ingrown hairs and razor bumps within about 48 hours. I was very plased with the results. But, after the 3rd day I started to get some serious burns or redness under my neck. After the 4th day I just couldn't use it anymore. So if you have sensitive skin you might think twice about using Solutions 2.

I switched from Tend Skin to this product because of the rollerball application and the price.

After less than a month of using it on my legs after every shave, I'm out. I was careful to use only as much as I needed to cover my legs and I was surprised at how quickly it ran out.

Overall, Tend Skin seemed to work better in getting rid of my chronic razor bumps and ingrown hairs, but this product does sting a little less and smells better.

It's cheaper than Tend Skin, but doesn't last as long. I guess each individual has to weigh what matters to them and try it out for themselves. I'm switching back to Tend Skin because, for the price of buying this once a month, I could buy a bottle of Tend Skin that might last me a few months.

For me (white female) this worked about as well as Tend Skin... I ended up going back to that but using this rollerball (you can unscrew and refill it). I've also tried PrinceReigns and it works a little better for me, plus it smells better.

While a lot of people use Min Solution and Tend Skin to alleviate razor bumps, ingrown hairs are a more difficult and lasting problem to solve. Despite several dermatologists telling me that there simply is no cure for ingrown facial hairs and that it "goes away when you're older", I've tried many products. Min Solution is better than Tend Skin, if only for the applicator, but it still burns like crazy and makes you smell like lighter fluid for a 1/2 hour after you shave. It also didn't solve my problem, just made it less extreme, even with consistent use. It's worth it if you don't have anything else to use for this problem, but don't expect it to solve anything fully.

So I don't actually know if this product is great or not (as all the reviews will have you believe). I just purchased it (because of its stelar reviews). However, after a little more searching I found that 3 other sites which are also selling this same product have all THE SAME EXACT REVIEWS (word for word)! It seems to me that Min might be trying to pump up their online reputation. I already ordered this so we'll just have to see if "it's so much better than Tendskin." If not, I'm coming back on here to write more . . .

After more than a month of using this product morning and night I have seen no noticably improvement in bikini line bumps, redness, ingrown hairs, etc. For me, this was a waste of money. But when you're desperate you'll try anything!

I recently purchased this product. As a professional, I've used alot of products that "eliminated" razor bumps. I shaved with a razor ONCE and used this product immediately afterwards and for a few days following. Like those other products, I still broke out with bumps. As a result, once the latest breakout clears, I will continue to use the depilatory I've used for the last several years.
