I love this stuff!! Five months ago I was diagnosed with having AK's (Actinic Keratosis -- lesions that can develop into squamous cell carcinoma/ skin cancer). My dermatologist recommended I use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic every day as it prevents thymine dimers (DNA mutations associated with skin cancer) with a medium exfoliator for a few months before taking more drastic measures to eradicate the AK's. My skin has never been healthier!! The lesions (which were scaly, itchy, and red) are healed and the overall apperance of my skin has improved dramatically and is much more even. My pores are smaller and I have a healthy glow. The CE Ferulic also is packed with antioxidant protection to help fight free-radical damage and provides photoprotection.
HIGHLY recommended for those with AK's, uneven skin tone, large pores, or blemished or dull skin.

I was advised by a cosmetologist that this was an excellent serum to use on my face in the a.m. before moisturizer. The smell takes getting used to (to me it smells like hotdogs!) but the product works great! If you can get past the smell, I'd absolutely recommend this product!!

SkinCeuticals products are the best! I have been ranting to everyone I know about how great my skin looks after using their products for around 3 weeks. I also use the Phyto and love it. The C E Ferulic goes on like silk and perfectly complements any other serum, lotion or sunscreen. It makes my makeup go on much smoother, and it does not cause my sensitive skin to break out. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone . . . it's worth every penny!

I've been using this stuff for almost a year after someone in a dermatologist office recommended it. My skin is smoother and more even and I think it's reduced the appearance of a few deeper forehead wrinkles. It's a bit sticky and takes some getting used to (I put it on when my face is damp), but I will continue to use this every day because I believe it's working!

On the recommendation of a friend, I started using CE Ferulic about two months ago. While no one is blinded by the radiance of my skin, it does look better. Given my age, I have had a few nice remarks about how I "do" my makeup. Truth is, I do next to nothing as far as make-up goes. That says a lot about CE Ferulic. Expensive, yes. But a little goes a very long way.

I just discovered this 3 weeks ago. A woman with perfect skin told me when she first tried it she saw a huge difference. I didn't like the way my skin looked for the first couple days. It felt a little greasy and heavy (and kind of has a bacon grease type scent) but I stuck to it and am now getting compliments on my radiance!
Though that might be partly due to my yoga program!
I like that this helps protect the skin from sun. I use it under skinceuticals spf 20 which I love also.

This is such a great product. After two weeks of use, my skin looks better with a more even skin tone. If feels softer and lines is my face seem to be less noticeable. I would recommend using this product before you reach 40 and regret not taking better care of your skin before the sun damage is noticeable but its not too late at 40 as I have discovered.

About 5 years ago when I went away to college I didn't see my mom for a few months for the first time in my life. While I was away her dermatologist started her on a skinceuticals daily routine with cleanser, and this C & E ferulic under sunscreen every day. When I went home I was blown away by how good she looked (she had really bad sun damage from a childhood spent outdoors without sunscreen). I had acne and a little sun damage from growing up in Arizona so I started to use this (although not the whole routine) My acne cleared up and my sun damage were greatly reduced and even at 20 I could tell my skin was firmer. It was totally worth the investment as the tiny bottle lasted over 6 months because you only use a few drops a day. It's true that all skin is different but this is a worthwhile product to give a shot.

very satisfied. Among skinceutical serums, this is the best for me. I used Phyto plus serum for bleaching, but this is much effective on my skin. Although this is expensive, I would love to buy again.

I started using this product at 55. I have always had combination skin with large pores. Age was adding wrinkles, age spots and crepey skin. This product zaps keratosis as it forms. I can't tell you how many I've stopped on my face, neck and chest. Skin texture improved. It's not a face lift, but the wrinkles around my eyes relaxed. It's only sticky if you use too much. A few drops are all that are needed. I would not do without this product.

I think it is working. My skin is smoother, more toned. Also using NIA24 products in conjunction with CE Ferulic, so it may be the combination but I like what I see.

I never write product reviews but I feel compelled to because Skinceuticals CE Ferulic is the only product that has had a noticeable effect on my problem skin. I have used it on and off over the years (the high price is often an issue), but the truth is, it works...so I feel it's better to spend the money on something that is effective vs. wasting money on a bunch of cheaper products that don't work. I have very ruddy, rosacea-like skin (broken capillaries) and after using the CE Ferulic daily for about a week or two, I can already see how much smoother my skin is and less splotchy. I would buy this in bulk if I could!

I know. I know. The price tag takes a little getting used to, but it is SO worth it. My skin has never looked better, brighter, or healthier. I was worried about spending this much money on one product, but it lasts quite a long time. I've found it takes less drops to cover your face and neck than the instructions say also. I've started getting compliments on my skin...I'm so glad I went out on a limb and tried this product. I'll never stop using it.

Very effective product, results are visible in a short period of time, extremely beneficial to skin's health. May be used in a masque mixture as well or mixed with your moisturizer for better application. My only negative comment is that it smells like smoked bacon. Does not smell good at all, however its benefits far outweight its odor.

This product is advertised as preventative care and I hope it does just that. I have been using for a little over two years now, and have discontinued use for short periods of time. When I stop using, my skin looks horrible. I have acne scars in some places, and I believe this product has helped some of them disappear. I also was developing wrinkles at 20, and I believe this product has helped stop and even reduce the appearance of frownlines. Its hard to judge exactly what this product does, but my skin is aweful without it!

I just started using this product, as I was trying to finish up everything else I had. I use this only in the morning for it's antioxidant claims. It goes on nicely over just-cleansed skin, however it smells like bacon which is a little off-putting. After this sinks in I follow it up with a moisturizer/SPF. So far I haven't seen any major results, but since I've just started using it I hope to soon.

After using this product for about 8 months, I have not seen any obvious topical benefit. I followed instructions carefully and used the recommended 4-5 drops and waited 10-15 minutes before applying my moisturizer/sunblock. The serum goes on smoothly. At first I believed it to be beneficial even if not obviously so
I took it along on an international trip thinking it would be ideal for airplane dehydration, fatigue and pollution. However, the trip confirmed that there was no benefit for me. On the contrary, the serum did not help prevent effects of pollution and sunshine. I finished the bottle and contemplated buying a second, but eventually decided against it given my disappointment, especially so after taking the price and Skinceuticals reputation into account. Still giving it 3 stars as I am convinced of Vitamin C & E benefits and say it is worth a try if one can afford it. As for me, I am looking for another Vit C & E product.

Question for other reviewers - did anybody select this product over Obagi's L-ASCORBIC ACID product? Can't figure out which is the better product, Obagi (which generally is not a cheap line) is over half the price of CE Ferulic.

i purchased this along with other skinceutical products. it tingles nicely when put on and gives the impression of a protective product. unfortunately it gives a sort of a jaundice color at recommended dosing.

after finishing the bottle i noticed no difference. for the price i am hesitant to make another purchase. if i do to try it again, i think i would use it at half dosing (just 2 or 3 drops) admixed along with skinceutical's daily moisture cream. that is a great product for my face and mixing it this way would make it easier to get an even application of ce feulic while avoiding the icky skin coloring.

I have read all reviews of this product, seems that everybody found a positive effect , however I can not say the same , I have oily skin and it produced breakouts in my skin, maybe it is good for people with dry skin but not for people with oily skin, I gave the same review days ago and it wasn't posted, I hope this review can help those with oily skin , this product is expensive and it is not fair to say only good things when others have had a negative effect, maybe there are other products that work better for oily skin.

I placed an order with Queen Bee Supply on February 9th and today March 15th I still have not received my shipment. It was very difficult to get a response when I finally did they blamed the post office and offered a full refund. It is now one week later and I have not received a refund and no further response. Very poor service and is poor reflection on Amazon. Will be filing a claim with the BBB and disputing payment with my bank.

I just used up the last of this product and am so glad it's gone!
I am not sure whether it helped my skin or not, but there are any other number of Vitamin C products that seem to do that (and those others do increase radiance).
This one was sticky and icky and after a while, it turned yellowish-orange in the bottle. My daughter (a cosmetics buyer) told me to throw it out, but I am from an earlier era and use up all of something this expensive ($$$$).
I recommend Zia's vitamin C product instead....or TNR...or whatever! Not this!

I'm a member of Makeup Alley, where this product is recommended constantly (by other users, not the company). I ordered with high hopes but instead I broke out and (though this may be unrelated) my skin, which is uneven in tone, got much more so while I used it.

Two caveats: I have very oily skin. And, I stopped using it after a month. I got tired of the breakouts. Also, this is very expensive. I got this from a highly recommended eBay buyer, which saved some money. But just be aware that skin is a highly individual thing and that what works for 99 other people may not work for you.

Just want to aware those of you who have oily skin, this product could cause breakouts and get your skin worse. I thought I was the only person that got breakouts with this product but reading other's comments I can say I'm not the only one who have oily skin and got breakout with CE Ferulic. you should think first before lose your money.
