I am a massage therapist and I cannot say enough about this product! I generally use jojoba oil but when massaging the feet I always apply this product. It has such a great smell and it softens while masking any foot odor. I do use it for its cooling effect on mild aches and pains when biofreeze would be overkill(It blends well on the body when used with jojoba). When applied to the bottom of a face cradle it can relieve the stuffy head effect from being face down. It can even be used VERY sparingly on the face. My clients love the wintergreen smell. 90.74% natural makes it a winner in my book any day!

I just love this stuff! It has a great smell and a refreshing cooling effect that soothes aches and pains. I also really appreciate that it is 90.74% naturally derived. It does have a stronger smell than the 'Tension Relief' version of this lotion by Village Naturals, but I like it. It's a wintergreen smell - like the breath mints. Or Pepto, kinda. But not a bad smell at all! I enjoy it.

I am a massage therapist and also use this on my clients. They all love the smell and the gentle cooling effect. I use Tiger Balm for a more intense cooling effect.

I highly recommend this product.

This product is the best thing out there... My sweet Mother suffers from Joint pain associated with her diabetes among other ailments.... She suffers from poor circulation and muscle aches.... This product is God sent.... I am able to massage away her every ache & pain with the comfort of knowing that it will not have any adversed affect. it is gentel yet powerful (if that makes any sense) I introduced this product to many family members who have become faithful users of your product..... I was devastate to know that it has been discontinued..... I await on pins & needles for it's return.

I love this product and am sad that it has been discontinued by the company. It is the best product I have ever used for sore muscles. The scent is light and yet the penetration is deep. Works very quickly to bring relief to sore muscles.

A friend gave this to me for my hot flashes. It works. It cools you like nothing you've ever tried. Then I discovered it really helped with my regular arthritis aches and pains. I would be totally lost without this stuff.

My mother was upset to find that you can no longer purchase this lotion at her local store. So I got online to find that you can only purchase from Amazon, which made me happy since I have had many wonderful experiences with other products that I have purchased through Amazon.com. My mother and father both use this lotion and swear by it for sore achy muscles. They both suffer from leg cramps and usually cannot sleep during the night because of them. Without this lotion, they get no relief at all. So thanks again Amazon for providing another great product.

I was looking for something that would give me a great shave but did not want one of those expensive shaving systems. I tried this product and got great results. I haven't seen anyone mention it for shaving but I massaged it into my beard before shaving and got the smoothest shave i have ever had. Great stuff.

I am happy to say this is the most refreshing, therapeutic and aromatic lotion ever. I suffer from Lupus, Fibromyalgia, RA and Migraine headaches and believe it or not this product is effective for all of these problems. I carry it everywhere I go and each time I use it someone says, "WOW that smell is "fabulous", what is that?" The saddest part of the story however, is that this is the last batch of this product the company will be making. The Village Naturals Company created this final batch to satisfy customers who found out the item was discontinued........Oh how very sad, that Walmart was marketing this item so poorly. If you went into the store to find this it was always on the lower level shelf (not the ideal location for people who suffer from pain), and it was located in the scented lotion section rather than the pain relief section, ie..Ben Gay, Bio Freeze etc....It would have also been ideal to have placed it by the Vick's and cold type products. I even came home from the hospital recently covered with bruises from multiple IV errors and blood draws and the lotion even soothed the pain from those. If you too love this item please contact the company....and when they tell you to contact Walmart, do that too! Please. I do not recommend the newer relaxation/sleep eucalyptus alternative....It smells very perfumey and is not relaxing at all.

15.) Great For Sinus Pain!

My wife has severe sinus problems and after 7 surgeries this product seems to be the only thing that gives her some degree of relief from the constant pain. She applies it to her forehead, checks and under her eyes. I hope we can always find this product somewhere because I don't know what she would do with out it. It also works great on my sore muscles after a long days work.

When I found the company was no longer making my favorite muscle pain relief lotion, I tried this with hesitation as I really do not like the smell of wintergreen. My recollection of wintergreen in a muscle relief ointment or lotion was the OVERWHELMING, seemingly NEVER-ENDING ODOR that lingers sometimes days after any pain-relief effects are gone. NOT SO WITH VILLAGE NATUREALS THERAPY MUSCLE RELIEF LOTION. The wintergreen is not overpowering, strongest when first applied but does not leave a lingering aroma. It is NOT SO PUNGENT that it burns or irritates my sinuses like other similar ointments do. My sinuses are extremely sensitive and headaches are frequent from perfumes and such. AGAIN, NOT SO WITH VILLAGE NATURAL PRODUCTS. In fact it is quite the opposite. After using VILLAGE NATURAL PRODUCTS, my sinuses feel open and relieved. As with all other VILLAGE NATURAL THERAPY PRODUCTS I have tried, the results are true pain relief with the side-benefits of soft skin and clearer sinuses.

I am a retired Registered Nurse and am so grateful for simple, affordable pain relief I can use as desired rather than as prescribed.

I love this lotion. It's not greasy or oily. Rubs right in, and leaves my skin soft. It smells like spearmint gum at first, and then has a smell of a generic joint/muscle relaxant. I like the smell though. Really opens up your nasal passage. I wouldn't suggest touching your eyes or getting food after using it. It's really strong, and even after washing my hands several times (For other reasons. I didn't purposely try to wash the lotion off.), it remained on my hands. I wouldn't say it takes away aches instantly, however if you sit and massage your skin with it, it feels nice. I put some on my thighs, and noticed some itching and a bit of a burning sensation, so I'd be careful if you have super sensitive skin. It's more of a relaxing massage lotion than an everyday lotion. Should be great at the very end of a pedicure/manicure. But overall, for the price and the amount you get, it's a great buy.

I only purchased this lotion because it was the only one left available. I do not like it nearly as much as the one for tension relief. The smell is horrid, but it does really help with the sore muscles. I used to beable to purchase these at Walmart but they no longer carry any of the lotions. I wish all the lotions were still available!
